Silvana Angeletti was born in Rieti in 1969. Daniele Ruzza was born in Rome in 1967. After graduating in Industrial Design at I.S.I.A. (Higher Institute for Art-related Industries) in Rome, in February 1994 they opened their own design firm: angeletti ruzza design. The firm mainly specialises in industrial design and cooperates with many companies, including FANTINI, TEUCO, FLAMINIA, AZZURRA, GUZZINI, GEDY, COLOMBO DESIGN, IRSAP, NEMO DI CASSINA, POLTRONA FRAU, SERAFINO ZANI, GRAFF. Since November 2007 Angeletti and Ruzza have been the creative directors of AZZURRA, which produces ceramic sanitary fittings. Among their interior design projects there are the Relais Villa d’Assio and the Quinto Assio Hotel in Rieti. They have been members of ADI. “BEDA reg." since 1999. They have been awarded 3 "GOOD DESIGN" awards in 2010, the "RED DOT AWARD COMMUNICATION 2009", two "DESIGN PLUS awards in 2009"; they received two special mentions in the ADI INDEX in 2006 and 2004 and three nominations for the DESIGN PREIS 2011. Some of their products are part of the permanent collection of the CHICAGO ATHENAEUM MUSEUM.
