Elisa Ossino

Elisa Ossino was born in Sicily and graduated in Architecture – Industrial Design and Furnishings at the Politecnico di Milano. She worked with CEDAR (Centre of Visual Communication) at the Faculty of Architecture and also had a video experimental phase with the EXCO Group. She began collaborating with a number of design magazines whilst working as an architect responsible for interior design. In 2000 she founded Elisa Ossino Study which deals with art direction, design, design styling and image consulting. The firm collaborates with important magazines of furnishings and with some of the major design firms like Boffi, De Padova, Foscarini, Living Divani, Salvatori, Fantini, Rubelli, Porro. In 2004, together with other partners, she established Nume, a design brand for kids. For Nume, she draws the furniture collection and coordinates its image. In 2010, together with other shareholders, she established Officina Temporanea, a research project focusing on contemporary languages which deals with design and expressive forms of art, with a particular attention to social issues.
