Sobriety, rigour and elegance are the keys to understanding the design of the Fantini showroom in New York in the building at 150 E 58 St., a stone’s throw from Central Park, designed by architect Piero Lissoni.
The space is characterised by white, accentuated by backlit walls and the scenographic use of crystal for shelves and display cases.
The display system is essential and functional, designed for an organic presentation of all the fittings collections and shower series. The large trestle table that serves as a display surface and the series of aligned boxes, displaying the shower systems, are of austere simplicity. An area of two hundred square metres is dedicated to Aboutwater Boffi/Fantini: a conceptual installation designed to present the collection born from the partnership between Boffi and Fantini and developed with products by Naoto Fukasawa, Piero Lissoni, Paik Sun Kim and Michael Anastassiades.
